PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

  1. Please follow the steps to register Online.
      • Click on "Apply Now" and choose the category under which you want to apply.
      • Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form.
      • Once submitted, Application number will be generated. Please note down the application number.
      • Log in to the website using the Application No. generated and Password entered by you
      • Follow the links to complete the information required
      • Select the mode of payment. Update the Demand Draft details (incase DD mode is selected) or make the payment online through credit / debit card.
      • Upload your scanned photograph and signature (file size not more than 50kb each).
      • Print your online Application form.
      • Please ensure that you have successfully logged out of the website after completion of the registration process.
  2. For online payment, a candidate must have valid VISA/MASTER Credit/Debit Card.
  3. Others should have a demand draft of the applicable amount favoring INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at NEW DELHI, since the candidate is required to fill in the details of the demand draft in the online application form.
  4. Applicable amount for the Demand Draft is as follows :
      • General/OBC candidates:                                        Rs.1500/-
      • SC/ST/PH candidates:                                            Rs. 750/-
      • Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates:       US$ 75 (INR Rs. 4000)
  5. You need to upload your scanned photo while registering, hence keep ready a scanned clear photo of yours. The photograph should be in .JPG format and the size of this photo should be less than 50 KB.
  6. You need to upload your scanned signature while registering, hence keep ready your scanned clear signature done on a white background. The size of this signature file should be less than 50 KB.
  7. You should have a printer attached to your computer as you are required to send a print of your online application form to IIFT.
  8. Print only on an A4 size paper in "Portrait Layout". Print only if the Bar Code appears properly on the screen, else refresh(Press F5) the page and then print.
  9. Once you complete your online application form and submit the same, take a print out, tear along the dotted line and send the bottom portion to IIFT after doing the needful as follows:
      • The candidates who have not paid through credit card are required to enclose the demand draft of the applicable amount with full name, address and application number on the reverse of the demand draft.
      • Two adhesive stickers/labels/name slips with Candidate's name and address written on it.
      • Copy of the requisite certificate, if belonging to SC/ST/PH/OBC(non-creamy layer) category.
      • Copy of your GMAT Score if belonging to Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI category.  If you do not have the GMAT score, you can also submit the same separately by 31st March 2014 quoting your application number.
  10. Send the print-out of online application form alongwith necessary enclosures to Sh. Gaurav Gulati, SAO(Academics), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi-110 016 through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier only.
  11. Once the filled in application form is received in the Institute with necessary enclosures, the online database will be updated and the candidate will be able to see the status of his/her application online. For this purpose the candidate needs to remember the password since it will be required along with the application no. for checking the status of the application.
  12. Last date for submitting online application form : 3rd September 2013
